OUR STORY
Over a century of God's Faithfulness

1907 - A Church is Planted
The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of White Plains, now known as Ridgeway, began in May 1907 when siblings Harriet and Bradford Heyer founded the Greenburgh Union Sunday School. The Sunday school quickly grew, reaching an attendance of 100 by 1908 and seeing itself as a lighthouse to the community. By 1910, the growing ministry began its transition from a Sunday school into a full church.

Building for the Future
In 1969, Ridgeway celebrated the dedication of the building that remains its home today. Through every season, God has provided as the church has grown to serve generations in White Plains and beyond. Throughout its history, the everyday life of Ridgeway has been marked by works of lasting significance—salvation, rededication, and continued growth in spiritual knowledge and faith.

A Global Church
Through worship, discipleship, outreach, care, and ministries for every generation, Ridgeway continues to serve both its congregation and the surrounding community. More than a century after its beginning as a small Sunday school, Ridgeway remains committed to being a light in its community and renewing culture for Christ.
